Abilene police have apprehended one suspect and are searching for another believed to be involved in the assault of a man last week in north Abilene.

Authorities arrested 33-year-old Ruben Juarez yesterday for aggravated assault.

A man reportedly got out of his car and was unsuspectingly assaulted by Juarez and another man, according to police.

The man has been unresponsive ever since.

Juarez is currently in Taylor County Jail on $75,000 bond.
