If you love working out and have been itching to try something new, Way
Of Life Fitness could be your new favorite spot. Head trainer and owner,
Abe Walzer gave us a better idea of what sets the up in coming gym
apart from all the rest.
"Things are coming along well," says Walzer, "we've been doing construction now for the last four or five months, and it's coming together."
The new fitness center, Way Of Life, will be located in the River Oaks shopping center, in the old Power Shack location, which Walzer says has been a huge help as far as transitioning the space.
"It used to be a gym, so it's not too hard," he explains. "But we are going a whole different direction with our training so there is a lot of stuff we have to put together."
Despite the number of gyms already up and running around the Key City, Walzer is confident his new fitness center will stand out among the crowd.
"This is a personal training based gym," he explains. "We're going to have a lot of personal training going on."
In addition to paid personal trainers, Walzer says Way Of Life Fitness will concentrate on helping all of their customers, regardless of their ability to pay for individual workout sessions.
"We're going to have trainers on the floor," says Walzer. "There will always be someone there to help you."
Way Of Life Fitness will also provide free childcare for parents who need to get their workout in but can't find a sitter.
