The Abilene Christian Wildcats are entering the Lone Star Conference Tournament with their worst record since 1995, but they are entering the tournament.

Assistant coach, Brandon Stover admits, The Wildcats didn't get in the way most would like, but the important thing to remember is you can't win the tournament unless you are in it.

"It's not how you chose to get in there" he said. "When you're, at the beginning of the year, looking at your schedule and how you think you're going to do. it's not, obviously how you want to get in but, we're in."

Coach Stover said this team knows it can play with anyone and that should help them come tournament time next weekend.

"No matter if you are the two seed through six," he said, "We're still in a position to win four ballgames and extend our season and go to a regional."

And despite the up and down season Stover says the goal has not changed from the beginning of the year.

"Our goals are still there that we've set early in the year and hopefully we can play well and have some success this weekend," he said.

But a good weekend won't be possible without hard work.

"we've challenged our guys to have a good practice and be ready to go for the weekend and hopefully, that's what will be."
