A Cisco man was killed Tuesday night in a one-vehicle accident in Callahan County.

The Texas Department of Public Safety says 54-year-old Mark Bowles was driving westbound on Farm Road 2945 just after 9:00 p.m. when his pickup left the road.

In an attempt to get back on the road, Bowles over corrected, overturned several times and was ejected from the pickup.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and taken to Kimbrough Funeral Home in Cisco.

He was wearing a seat belt.
