The Snyder Hispanic Chamber of Commerce will celebrate Cinco de Mayo with several activities at Towle Park on Saturday.

The one-day festival will begin at 10 a.m. with booths featuring food and merchandise.

Children's games will also be available. Activities will include face painting, balloon dart game, ring toss, a bounce castle and miniature train ride.

A car audio sound-off contest, with winners receiving cash and prizes, will be held at 3 p.m. Live music will begin at 5 p.m. with Proximo Sonido with Juan Pantoja and featured group Carabina 30/30 opening the show. Local band Jeremy Ramos and Conjunto Malo will take the stage at 7 p.m.

"The whole family can come out to Cinco de Mayo and enjoy some great food and a great lineup of live music from some great Tejano bands," said Joe Lara, chamber spokesman. "The concert is free and we would like for all of Snyder and the surrounding towns to come out."
