Ruff Riders Back To Their Winning Ways

The Abilene Ruff Riders got back in the win column on Saturday night at the Taylor County Coliseum.

The Ruff Riders used a 25 point 2nd quarter to build a big 1st half lead, and they hung on to beat Rio Grande Valley for their 2nd win of the season. It's the 1st win for the Riders in a month, and they are glad to be back in the winner's circle.

"This past one was really good because it was the first time all year that we put four quarters together and came out with a win, so it was really good for us and we need t move forward with it." adds David Coffey.

"Battling through adversity has been the theme all year, and it seemed like in that game we had a little adversity going against us at times during the game and it seemed the ball just seemed to bounce our way." says Le'Juan Edwards.

The Riders hit the road for the 1st time in the regular season this week. They are headed to Houston to play the Stallions on Sunday at 7.
