Abilene Police Investigating Overnight Stabbing

Abilene police are investigating a reported overnight stabbing.

A woman notified officers that she was taking her friend to the hospital after she was stabbed outside a business at the 4800 block of South 14th at 12:40 this morning.

Officers were able to speak to the victim at the hospital, where she told them a person she knows stabbed her after an argument.

She was in fair condition from stab wounds to the leg and chest.
