Workforce Solutions Hosts Workshops for Veterans Seeking Employment

Workforce Solutions of West Texas held a workshop targeting a specific type of person seeking employment today.
The event was open to veterans who are looking to get back out into the workforce.
The Local Veteran's Employment Commission is thrilled at the opportunity to hook up employers seeking veterans and veterans seeking employment.
"There are so many advantages to hiring veterans," says Local Veteran Employment Representative Larry Denton. "There's an accelerated learning curve, there's that fantastic work ethic and integrity that veterans bring to the marketplace. And it's also an opportunity for employers to give something back to folks that have served this country."
