First Baptist Church's Family Life Center Gets A Face Lift

"It had been used tremendously over the years but it was starting to wear out a little bit and it just needed a new paint job, new flooring, new carpet, new everything," says Keith Post, director of the First Baptist Church's Family Life Center.

After years of wear and tear, the family life center decided to do a complete renovation.

"A little bit of a facelift for the gymnasium as well as our game room, our bowling lanes  as well as our skating rink," he continues.

The modern vibe and cool things to do makes it a little hard for adults to contain their inner child, which is why the family life center makes it fun for everyone.

Post says, "It is opened up to the community except for the fitness area to come in and to play basketball, to use the game room to bowl, to skate for a small fee."

He explains the center is simply living out their mission as Christians.

"Certainly as a Christian organization, our goal is to promote more of a Christ-like environment as well as a wholesome family environment," says Post.
