Drunken Driver Wrecks, Tries to Switch Seats with Passenger

A man was arrested for driving under the influence following a wreck at North Tenth and Willis Street last night.

A witness told the investigating officer that 53-year-old Michael Giddings changed places with a passenger to make it look like he wasn't driving

Giddings was charged with driving while intoxicated with an accident.

Police say the breath test indicated that his blood-alcohol level was more than three times the legal limit.
