Cowgirls Honored By ASC

ABILENE, Texas - Four Hardin-Simmons women's tennis players were honored by the American Southwest Conference for their play in the 2012 season and as voted on by the league's head coaches.
 
Lauren Jay, Morgan Rainer and Genene Haddad were all three named to the ASC West second team at No. 1, 2 and 3 singles respectively.
 
Jay and Haddad were named to the second-team at No. 1 doubles and Rainer and Tram Le were named to the second team at No. 3 doubles.

West Division Most Valuable Player: Megan Aarhus, No. 1/1, Sr., Mary Hardin-Baylor
West Division Co-Freshmen of the Year:
Brandy Curry, No. 4&5/1&2, McMurry; Caitlin Zarr, No. 1/1, Texas Lutheran
West Division Sportsmanship Athlete of the Year: Morgan Rainer, No. 2/3, Sr., Hardin-Simmons
West Division Coach of the Year: Mark Hathorn, McMurry
