New Requirements For Texas Driver License

If you're applying for a Texas license for the first time, starting Monday, you are now required to show a little something extra.

In addition to standard requirements, all new applicants will be asked to present two acceptable documents containing their name and address.

These are to establish proof of residency in the state. Officials also urge to beat the summertime rush by heading in early.
