Hawley Softball advances with a rout of Junction

The third ranked Hawley Lady Bearcats advanced with a 16-1 win and a series sweep of Junction.

Hawley took game one of the series, and were looking for the sweep.

In the bottom of the 3rd Amanda Verette sent a base hit to center field and that scored Heather Isbell, making it 3-1 Hawley. Everything came unraveled in the third, with Hawley leading 4-1, A base hit down the 3rd base line by Vanessa Rubio would score Megan Verette making it 5-1 Hawley.

Later in the 3rd the nightmare continued for Junction when their catcher tried to pick off Rubio at 3rd, but the ball got away and ended up in the outfield allowing Rubio and Maci Brewer to Score.

As Hawley doesn't look back and easily sweeps away junction with a 16-1 win.
