It's a dream come true.

That's all it was for Matt Weaver just a few months ago, but now its finally a reality.

"Seven months ago we didn't have a name for a camp, we didn't have anything in our name," he said.

The Eastland native had a vision of starting a sports camp-all he needed was the land- now he's got an entire country club.

"Close to 250 acres that we can now expand everything from ball fields to sports complexes," said Weaver.

Better yet, most of it was donated from a local developer- about $2 million worth of land
It all came fully stocked with a gym, restaurant, condos and even a lake.

An ideal spot for a sports camp which Weaver plans on hosting not just kids, but entire families.

"Our whole think and camp is surrounded in God's beauty and how we can use that to minister to families as they come here," said the Eastland native.

It didn't all come on a silver platter.

Weaver and his team still raise funds to pay for the $3 million property, but it's not something that worries him too much.

"We've got a lot of work to do but there's a lot of support backing us, we'll be able to sleep 128 people," he said.

Dreams for solid rock are moving quickly.

Its just been six months and they've already begun construction on the site. They've got hundreds of acres to build on and they've already got their first camp lined up for this summer.

"We're to a place where God's in control if this is His ministry He'll truly provide and we're just relying on that and having faith on that," said Weaver.

This will be the first sports camp site in Eastland.

Most of it was already laid out for him to add on to and that's exactly what he plans to do.

"The next buildings and grants that we will be working for to get will be whether it's motel rooms or family cottages to where we can start reaching entire families," said Weaver.
