Brownwood residents are cleaning up the mess left by damaging thunderstorms.

The weekend thunderstorms brought only light rain, but the winds were gusting to dangerous speeds in the heartland.

There were reports of several tree limbs and power lines being snapped when the storms hit the city.

There were no reports of any injuries, but there was quite a bit of storm damage.
