Get ready for a wet and much cooler week ahead... One to two inches of rain are certainly possible for the Abilene area over the next several days so it looks like beneficial rain is on the way!

The latest KRBC Weather Lab forecast:

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for the following counties: Taylor, Mitchell, Nolan, Callahan, Coke, Runnels, Coleman, and Brown until 9 PM this evening.  Otherwise...

Tonight: Showers and storms likely. Cloudy skies and lows near 59.

Tuesday: Good chance of rain storms and soaking rains. Cloudy. Highs are pretty cool for a chance and in the upper 60s!

Wednesday: Partly Cloudy. High 75.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with a chance of storms. Highs near 76.
