If your creative side is feeling a little neglected, it's time to re-ignite the fire! Prophetic artist, Latimer Ramsey, explains the importance behind creative expression, and how it can bring your friends and family closer together.

When it comes to creative expression, Ramsey says it doesn't matter what you do as long as you're pushing color around on paper or unleashing your imagination.

"You do whatever it is you have a heart to do that day," explains Ramsey, "whether it's painting or drawing, or waving banners... Everyone can do it!"

Ramsey says "Creative Mondays" are a great way to bring family and friends together, just to spend a little quality time with each other while creating something beautiful.

"Start inviting people into your home, set up a time when people can come. It's the most fun you can possibly have!"

And the benefits to creative expression, don't stop with the individual creator.

"People can come release the creative gifts into each others lives, that God has placed there," says Ramsey. "Everybody's voice and their creative expression is completely different."

The best part is, science has shown creative expression can signal the release of serotonin in the brain, which can improve your mood and make you feel happy!
