By: Katie Thompson
Updated: May 8, 2012
A pair of newly purchased trolleys are getting ready to resume service in Abilene.

At the beginning of the year, city council approved a proposal to replace the two 1997 CityLink trolleys by purchasing of a pair of 2001 model trolleys from a company in Las Vegas.

The trolleys are currently undergoing testing and repairs, as the city hopes to have them running in the next couple months.
