Lightning Strike Victim Recovering at Home One Day Later

The man, who was struck by lightning while working in a wind turbine, has been released from the hospital.

The incident happened about nine miles south of Sweetwater on Highway 70 on Monday afternoon.

The Nolan County Sheriff's Office says he was working inside a wind turbine, climbing the ladder to get out when lightning struck the turbine.

The man has been treated and released from the Rolling Plains Hospital.
