breaking news
Today will be a brief period of drier weather with slim shower chances off to our south. Showers will build off to our west today with an upper level low over NM. This energy will move east over the region Thursday and spin in shower chances Thursday afternoon. We could see significant rainfall amounts through Saturday, 1 - 1.5 inches with some areas possibly seeing locally heavier rainfall. As for thunderstorms, instability will be limited and thunderstorm development will also be only a slight risk.
