A break from the rain is expected today as conditions should be partly cloudy and pleasant with highs in the upper 70s. Slight rain chances will remain to our south.

A few clouds and cool tonight with lows in the mid to upper 50s.

Rain chances will be back on the rise as the upper level system moves across West Central Texas on Thursday. A pretty good bet for locally heavy rainfall is expected Thursday through Friday. Highs will remain in the lower 70s with lows in the upper 50s.

We'll begin to dry out by the weekend. Temperatures will return to the upper 70s and lower 80s by Mother's Day.
