ACU Student Involved in Serious Accident Released from Hospital

The ACU student seriously injured when he was hit by a car on his scooter has been released from a Dallas hospital.

According to his girlfriend, Justin Gibson was released from the hospital on Tuesday.

Gibson was on hit head-on by a car making an unprotected turn at the intersection of North 10th and Pine Street on March 30.

He suffered multiple injuries including fractures to the skull, bleeding from the brain, and several torn ligaments in the knee.

Gibson spent weeks in a coma in critical condition before making huge progress towards recovery.
