Several ACU students, who raised over $15,000 dollars for Habitat for Humanity, presented the check on Wednesday.

The Gamma Sigma  Phi fraternity held a volleyball tournament fundraiser last month to raise the money. They played for over 60 hours straight. The money raised will help build a home for a family on Over Street. The house now has a foundation and wood frame.

"It makes me feel incredible to be able to present over $15,000. It feels like an incredible accomplishment that we were able to do.  I've never raised that much money in my life. " said Matt Sanderson the fraternity's service chair.

The fraternity plans on returning to the house in the fall to help put the finishing touches on interior features like the cabinets and wall paint.
