A Flash Flood Watch is in effect from 7:00 a.m. Thursday until 7:00 a.m. Friday.

Heavy rain will move back into the area later this morning and afternoon as an upper level system crosses the area. The rain will stick around for a good portion of the day and into the overnight hours.

Rainfall totals across the Big Country should range from generally 1-3 inches with locally heavier amounts possible, especially to the South. Expect highs in the lower 70s.

The rain should continue overnight, with lows in the mid to upper 50s.

The system will begin to lift out on Friday, although rain will continue for the first portion of the day.  Highs will remain in the lower 70s with mostly cloudy skies.

We'll begin to clear out this weekend, and temperatures will return to the mid to upper 70s.

Another slight chance for showers and storms will return by the first of next week.
