At about 10:00 last night, Officer Andrew Valdez was dispatched to a disturbance call at a residence in the 1700 block of North Fifth Street. The mention of a verbal altercation between the calling party's wife and the female subject was also reported. Officer Valdez arrived and observed a female subject standing next to a window. Officer Valdez began his investigation and the next thing he heard was the sound of a window breaking. The female subject was still standing next to the window and he contacted her. His investigation revealed the subject to have a small cut to her finger and that the subject had broken the window. The subject was also intoxicated. Officer Valdez arrested the female and located a small quantity of marijuana in her pocket. She was arrested on the following charges: criminal mischief, possession of marijuana, and public intoxication.
This morning just before 1:00, Officer Damien Hutchinson was dispatched to a disturbance call at a residence in the 1900 block of Clinton Street. Before the caller hung up the phone, the dispatcher heard one voice exclaim to another to leave her alone. Officer Hutchinson contacted the residents and learned that no apparent criminal offense had occurred. During his investigation, he ran a records check and learned that a male subject had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. Officer Hutchinson arrested the male subject on an aggravated assault with deadly weapon warrant out of Tarrant County.
