Man Arrested in Abilene on Felony Assault Charges in Fort Worth

A man wanted on felony aggravated assault charges in Fort Worth was arrested in Abilene this morning.

Police arrested 58-year-old Robert Foster at about 1:00 this morning while investigating a disturbance call in the 1900 block of Clinton Street.

A routine computer check revealed the warrant from Tarrant County authorizing the arrest on a charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

Foster was taken to Taylor County Jail.
