Although not a part of the Operation Baker's Dozen, Brown County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division (CID) performed a warrant service which netted 51 grams of methamphetamine and arrested three on drug related charges Thursday.

Strike teams were formed to execute the warrant simultaneously on suspects in a vehicle during a traffic stop and at the suspect's home on Thursday. BCSO Investigators Jason Benefield, James Stroope, and Carlyle Gover initiated the traffic stop of the suspects' car on Hwy 279 north of Brownwood, according to Gover.

Gover said that the occupants did not stop the car but led the officers on a slow speed chase on Hwy 279, turning onto FM 1850 and the County Road 105 before coming to a stop. Gover stated that during the stop, one of the occupants surrendered 51 grams of methamphetamines (pictured above) with a street value of approximately $5,000 uncut or possibly more than $10,00 if cut.  The occupants, identified as 42-year-old Dusty Marie Sellers Luttrell (pictured left) and 51-year-old Patricia Elayne Luttrell (right), both of Brownwood, were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver penalty grade 1, equal or more than 4 grams less than 200 grams. Patricia Luttrell was additionally charged with tampering with physical evidence. Dusty Luttrell was additionally charged with evading arrest with vehicle.

Meanwhile, the other team, which consisted of CID Sergeant Lana Guthrie and Scott Byrd simultaneously served the warrant on the suspects' residence where they found the third suspect, 46-year-old Christopher Dewayne Spees of Breckenridge (center), according to Gover.  Spees was charged with possession of a controlled substance penalty grade 1, less than 1 gram and possession of marijuana less than 2 ounces.
