The upper level storm system continues to spin overhead here in the Big Country. What that means for to us the Big Country residents is that we can expect the continuing chance for scattered showers and thunderstorms this evening and tonight. A very slight chance will exist on Saturday as well, but the best dynamics should be mainly east of Abilene by afternoon. Your latest KRBC Weather Lab for...ecast:

This evening into tonight: plenty of clouds with a chance of thunderstorms and rain showers. Lows by morning in the upper 50s.

Saturday: Partly cloudy with a slim chance of a shower or thundershower. Highs in the lower to middle 70s.

Sunday/ Mother's Day: Partly cloudy and dry and pleasant. Highs near 78.

Have a great weekend and Happy Mother's Day on Sunday to all of the moms in the area!
