Haskell Maidens Defeat Stamford; Advance In Playoffs

Stamford Lady Bulldogs and Haskell Maidens picking up where they left off Friday before the rain came and delayed the game till Saturday.
The Maidens up 6-3 after 4 innings.
To The bottom of the 5th. With runners in scoring position, the base hit back to Stamford's Macy Miles. Shes get the out at first to keep Haskell from scoring and its still 6-3.
But the Maidens come alive in the 6th. Megan Gonzalez with the strike down the left field line. Lacey Tullos will make it a 7-3 ballgame.
Haskell wins 13-3 to advance and will take on the winner of Winthorst and Petrolia.
