Voters Cast Key Issues of Concern Along With Their Votes

Voters made their way to their local polling spot to cast in their final vote today.
The polling centers were open since 7 a.m. this morning until 7 p.m.
Eighteen centers were open all around the Key City.
Many of the voters had specific issues in mind that helped them decide their vote.
"The public has got a voice they need to tell the politicians know what that voice is and what they want done and how they want it done," said Abilene resident and Ed Sooter.
"I hope that maybe some of the ones that are elected in the next few years take a little more interest in bringing in actual business and maybe some manufacturing that would be some good jobs," said Marvin Hamer another Abilene resident at the polls.
Many of the voters expressed more concern for the outcome for the City Council positions than for the various school boards, saying they believe they have more influence on issues that concern them.
Voters weren't the only ones who came out to polling centers, there was even a candidate outside campaigning, trying to get those last minute votes.
