Big Country Athletes Bring Home Metals From State Track & Field Meet

Numerous athletes from across the Big Country competing in the State Track & Field Meet at the University of Texas on Friday and Saturday, and may of them coming home with Gold, Silver or Bronze Metals.

Albany's Kami Norton brought home two gold metals for the 100 Hurdles and 300 Meter race.

Munday's Dee Paul bringing home two gold metals for the 300 Meter and 100 Hurdles, and Munday's Tyrone Neskorik bringing home a gold metal in the Boys Shot Put.

Cooper's Derrick Randle finished 5th in the 5A Long Jump, and 2nd in the Triple Jump, earning him a Silver Metal. His 50' Triple Jump set a Cooper High School Record.
