By: Newsroom
Updated: May 15, 2012
The people of Abilene can nominate the Key City as one of the most unique in the country.

Reader's Digest has launched a contest, asking people to submit stories as to why their town is unique or special. It's a title that could help tourism in Abilene.

"We encourage everyone to go online. The more publicity that Abilene can get, the better for all of us. It would only help in our pr efforts as we  continue to promote Abilene throughout the us."

The winning city will be featured on the cover and each week the magazine will pick a city to feature.
