A pair of suspected shoplifters are in custody after ramming a police officer's car in an attempt to get away.
A detective happened to be around the corner from K-Mart at 4:30 Tuesday afternoon when he heard the call for shoplifting at the store.
He followed the two women as they were leaving, but once they realized they were being followed they pulled into a parking space and then rammed the detective's car when he pulled in behind them.
One of the women got out and ran, but was eventually chased down and arrested.
Both women now face much more than just shoplifting charges.

Probably shoplifted a cheap item. Now they are in serious trouble.
