Car Hit by Train Near Strawn

A vehicle was stuck on the train tracks off of FM 2372 and then hit by a train early this morning.

A train hitting a car was reported to dispatch at 4:19 a.m. near Strawn.

When officials arrived on the scene, no one was found to be in the car or in the area.

The train slowed to about 30 mph when it hit the vehicle, knocking it about 40 feet.

The incident is still under investigation.
