Abilene Prairie Dogs Make a Pair of Moves

ABILENE, TX -- As the Prairie Dogs continue to gear up for the start of the United League Baseball season, the organization made a pair of transactions this morning.
 
Abilene agreed to terms with right handed pitcher Chris Peacock and traded right handed hurler Thomas Campbell to the Southern Illinois Miners of the Frontier League.
 
Peacock, a 6'4", 205 lbs right hander, is a native of Fairhope, AL, and Campbell, a 6'2, 190 lbs righty, hails from Mt. Airy, GA.
 
The Prairie Dogs open the season on Wednesday, May 23 when they visit the Edinburg Roadrunners for a four game series. You can see the Dogs for the first time on their home field when they welcome the San Angelo Colts to town for a 7:00 first pitch on Monday, May 28 at Walt Driggers Field at McMurry University.
