The Wylie Bulldogs are still going strong in the class 3A Playoffs. The Bulldogs were pushed to the limit, but came out on top of Kennedale this past weekend. Head Coach Clay Martin's team lost game 1, but bounced back to claim game 2 and game 3 to clinch the Area Championship.

Wylie wasn't really challenged during District Play, but showed some real heart when things got tough over the weekend.

"It really gave us a lot of confidence, winning those two games against Kennedale, and it was really kind of a catalyst thing for the rest of the playoffs because we are going to be able to remember those times and look back at the times when we did really well, and build off of that and keep going on through the series we continue to play" adds Josh Dodderer

"Any time you believe in each other and you believe in the team , things come out well and it breeds confidence." adds Head Coach Clay Martin.

The Bulldogs are getting ready for the 3rd round that starts on Friday. Game 1 against Mineral Wells is at 7 on Friday. Game 2 is Saturday at 1pm. All games are set for Eastland.
