11th Annual 'Click it or Ticket' Campaign Kicks off in Abilene

A new statistic shows that while 90 percent of drivers wear seat belts regularly, only 80 percent of pickup drivers wear theirs.

Now local law enforcement is making it a point to remind all drivers to wear their seat belts as part of the 11th annual "Click it or Ticket" campaign.

An event Thursday morning featured a mock scene of a pickup hanging from a seat belt to demonstrate the strength of the material.

The campaign continues through June 3, including the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
