Hundreds of visitors are in town this weekend for the Abilene Kennel Club Dog Show.

Judges at the Taylor County Expo Center are checking the confirmation and obedience of several different breeds.

The event brings dog owners and fans from across the state and south-central part of the country.

Organizers say the annual dog show has been conducted in January for several years, but they moved it to this time of the year to help attract more participants and spectators.
