Well-Known Teacher to be Laid to Rest

A well-known local teacher is being laid to rest today.
Stan Hicks will be buried at the Red Dirt Pavilion in Buffalo Gap at 6:00 this evening.
Hicks was an 8th grade history teacher at madison middle school and was with AISD for 20 years.
Last weekend, hicks drove off a road and hit a culvert in Taylor County. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Stan Hicks was 61 years old.

I am disappointed that the newbie has no clue about Abilene. It is Mann Jr. Hi and Stan played for the university of Texas on the 69-70 national champions. Such a tragedy for the mistakes on a otherwise good story
