Monday night was college night here in Abilene. More than 40 Texas colleges and universities are making their way to the Abilene Civic Center for the school district's yearly college fair. For the first time the school district is partnering with the Abilene Education Foundation to host college night. While the event is usually held at each high school, this year it's at the Civic Center and its big.

Students throughout the Big Country could speak with representatives from some of Texas' top schools. Local college advisors say college night is the perfect time for students to ask about testing requirements, financial ad and if the school a right fit.

College night also provided three sessions for students and parents about financial aid and the NCAA clearing house.
