Thieves Abscond with $3k Worth of Metal

Someone took almost $3,500 worth of metal from a construction site, and police may know who is responsible.

American Electric Power (AEP) reported the theft from a substation being built off of North Judge Ely.

The thieves reportedly took about 300 feet of transmission wire as well as control panels and switches.

The business also told police that they know who did it.
