Colorado City Lady Wolves Prepare For Alpine

Colorado City is the only Big Country still playing for a berth in the State Softball Tournament.

They are just 1 victory away from punching their ticket to Austin. The Lady Wolves won their District Title in the Regular Season, and they beat 3rd ranked Hawley to get the quarterfinals. It's been a great run, and they hope it continues tomorrow against Alpine.

"Before each game we get prepared in a way that no one can imagine. We write in these notebooks, and everyone prepares two to three days before each game. We think about what we are going to do from beginning to end and that's how we think. We just think winning." says Senior Miranda Reyna.

"We didn't expect to be this far, but I think we just wanted it so bad that everyday we just worked hard to get where we are." adds Senior Sidney Upshaw.

The Lady Wolves play Thursday in Odessa at 7pm against Alpine. It's a one-game playoff.
