After a mild start this morning, temperatures will be rising into the 100's this afternoon. The western counties could see temperatures as high as 102-104 degrees. This is all thanks to the dryline that will be moving rather far into the eastern portion of the area, bringing low 100's into Abilene. So please be sure to stay hydrated and limit any outdoor activities as much as possible. A slight breeze will also be in store for most of us with winds coming out of the SSW at 15 to 20 mph.

By Friday, we will see those temperatures come back down (just a bit) into the mid 90's as the dryline pushes back to the west. Memorial Day weekend looks pretty great as well with lots of sunshine and highs sticking around the low 90's.
