Texas Rangers Homestand Highlights and Ticket Sales

Arlington, Texas -- The Texas Rangers return to Arlington on Friday for a six-game homestand that features three contests each with the Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners.
 
The Blue Jays make their only 2012 appearance at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington with a 7:05 p.m. game on Friday, May 25 and 2:05 p.m. contests on Saturday and Sunday, May 26-27. All reserved seats for all three games of the Toronto series have been sold out except for a limited number of obstructed view and scattered single seats. In addition, over 2000 standing room tickets remain for each game of the weekend series.
 
Click It or Ticket presents Post-Game Fireworks following tomorrow night's game. Prior to the game, 2012 HP Byron Nelson Champion Jason Dufner will throw out a ceremonial first pitch and the 40th Anniversary Game Ball Delivery will be made by former Rangers infielder Bill Stein on the 31st anniversary of his A.L. record seventh consecutive pinch hit.
 
On Saturday fans with a game ticket can attend the Casting Crowns concert presented by I AM SECOND beginning at noon on the north lawn before the 2:05 p.m. game. The first 30,000 fans entering the park will also receive a MLB Network Drawstring Backpack. On Sunday members of the local Boy Scouts will attend the game and participate in a pre-game parade. The first 10,000 youngsters, 13 and under entering the park on Sunday will receive a Dr Pepper Tom Thumb Nelson Cruz white jersey.
 
The Mariners are in town for 7:05 p.m. games on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, May 28-30. Good reserved seats remain for all three games. On Memorial Day, the 531st Air Force Band Brass Quintet will perform the National Anthem and the United States Marines Honor Guard will present the U.S. colors. A moment of silence will be observed at Rangers Ballpark in Arlington in honor of Memorial Day.
