Meet Carrie Cadena, President of the North Abilene Softball Association.

Carrie was nominated by her friend Cristal Lopez, who says Carrie "works hard to help young people play ball and also with community outreach."

When her cousin Breanna Camacho passed away, Lopez says Carrie not only allowed them to have a memorial at the softball fields, she even contributed to some of the funeral costs.

Lopez describes Carrie as " a wonderful friend and mom."

Carrie has worked full time for Blue Cross Blue Shield, for the past 15 years.

From all of us at KTAB, thank you Carrie Cadena for being an outstanding member of the Big Country!
