The Cisco College Wranglers are just a day from making their 1st appearance in the JUCO World Series.

They have spent the entire year in the top 25, and now they are ranked 4th in the nation. This is a team that has been together for 2 years now which seems to be one of the keys to the wranglers trip to the series in Colorado.

"This is kind of the same group that we had last year.  They were all freshman, and now they are all sophomores. They are a little bit older, a little bit smarter, and its made our job a little bit easier this year." says Assistant Coach Shawn Hughes.

"Our chemistry was much better this year, We kind of hit a streak all of a sudden and have just been riding it all the way through, and its been a really enjoyable ride." adds Heath Herrington.

"I want to win the whole thing, that would be awesome," adds Austin Salter, "It's going to be fun there, but it is all about winning."

The Wranglers start play on Saturday against Jefferson College. Their game time is 8:30pm.
