Stamford Drops Game 2; Wins Game 3 to Advance To Regional Finals

The Stamford Bulldogs had a one game lead going into Saturday's over the Miles Bulldogs. So lets head to the action.

In the bottom of the second, Ryan Walter rips this into shallow right for a base hit and Travis Fisher will come in to score the first run for Miles. It sets off a chain reaction.

Past ball forKyle Fisher will bring in Stewart Hohensee to score, and the right after that another past ball allows Ryan Walters to score. It's 3-0 Miles.

Stamford trying to make something happen. Austin Alvarado with the chop down the right field line. Miles tries for the out at third, but it gets past Shelton Hohensee, the speedster Jessie Ramos takes advantage to score. But that will be the only run they score in game one.

The Bulldogs fall hard, getting run ruled 11-1 in 6 innings. Miles forcing a game 3. But the Bulldogs not going to lose twice in a row. They get the 4-3 win and advance to the regional finals, they will play the Winters Blizzards next week.
