The AEP Texas website reports that about 100 Abilene customers were still without electrical power late Tuesday morning.

The winds toppled some large tree limbs, which in turn pulled down the service lines. Power company workers have been out since last night to repair the power lines and restore electrical service.

Taylor Electric reports that the storm damaged a power transmission line at their Hawley substation, interrupting power to about 1400 customers in the Hawley area of southern Jones County.
