As the weather gets hotter, snow cone stands start popping up across the Key City, and there's nothing better than adding a cool sweet treat to get a little relief from triple digits.

On a good day, Brittany and Shelley from Hawaiian Dreams can serve anywhere from 70 to 80 snow cones!

"We have lines of people that just wait for us to be open," explains Brittany. "There is a lot of people that come and they're like 'ya'lls snow cones are the best!'"

They're so good, Brittany says hungry patrons come from the north side of Abilene, and sometimes even Dallas, just to get a taste and cool off with a little shaved ice. One of the secrets to their success, could be their board listing over 100 different flavors, including sugar-free options.

Hawaiian Dreams even offers various "Mexican" themed flavors, like "Mangonada" and "Tamaringo."

The stand also boasts, that they're the only ones offering real fruit toppings to put the finishing touches on your sweet treat!
