Man Gets Sentence for Putting Child in Stranger's Apartment then Fleeing

A man who shot at a house with a paintball gun then put a child in a stranger's apartment while he fled the scene of an accident was sentenced today in court.

In September of 2011 Shaquan Johnson shot at a home with a paintball gun then left the scene in a vehicle and hit a parked van and a trash can near North Seventh and Pioneer.

In the process, he took a 7-year-old boy who was in the car with him and put him in a stranger's apartment then ran from police, only to be captured a short time later.

He will serve 5 years probation for criminal mischief and child endangerment.
